Do you and your lover have a special love song? Sometimes it feels like certain love songs hold the answer to all your love questions or a love tip that makes all the difference. Other times, a good love song is just a happy thing you can relate to because you are so much in love!

Love Ballads

A lot of love songs give love advice. Two examples are "You Can't Hurry Love" and "I Can't Make You Love Me." Some just help jilted lovers express their feelings (like "You Give Love A Bad Name.") But more often than not, when you hear a love song, it's about love and relationships that have gone wrong. So sad.

Let's say your true love proposes and you're planning your wedding. Holy cow, do you have a lot of love songs to choose for the reception. A good DJ will know which songs are right for certain activities at the reception. But you have to choose the love song that you'll dance to for your first dance. Now ladies, don't get upset if your guy doesn't want to choose a song to be "your song." Most guys don't think that's a "masculine" thing to do. Don't get upset though. Just choose a song that always makes you think of him.

There is one love song that's somewhat mystic. It would almost be good to have it on in the background if you're planning on putting a love spell on someone you have a crush on, although love spells usually don't work. It can be a fun activity for a girls night in though, complete with facials and margaritas! In fact, at this little get-together, you can discuss the secrets of love, the role of love in relationships, answer a burning love question, discuss ways to find love, exchange love tips, write love poems and whatever else sounds like fun. Now imagine a bunch of guys doing that. (Not gonna happen.)
